Button Bay State Park | Ferrisburgh | link to site | There are Nature trails heading toward the point just past that pavilion where we were gathered for that event. Ti-Haul Trail | Shelburne | link to site | Named for the route they took hauling the Ticonderoga steamboat overland to the Shelburne Museum. The entrance is next to the dog park just past where the School is, a gentle walk through the forest that brings you behind New Village Farm and comes out to the Bay. (There are also really nice trails around Shelburne Bay, too, for that matter!) I used to walk the Ti path on my lunch breaks, sometimes, when I worked at the school. |
